The lively wedding of Aderonke and Oluwafemi Oso

One of the best feelings on earth is spending the rest of your life with someone you love, someone who gives you joy every second of the day. It was for this reason that Femi who works with Redeemed Christian Church of God water supply and Aderonke who works with a TV station, decided to get married and spend the rest of their lives together.

The couple began their journey to matrimony at the "Joy to the wise" Hall,Redemption camp which was packed to capacity with family and friends,on May 1st, 2017.

In the early hours of the day, the heaven opened it's bowels with a joyful shower, a somewhat divine attestation to the event of the day. According to local traditional belief, it was a wedding day, and once it rains, it means the woman comes into her husband's house bearing peace.

The wedding kicked off with an Engagement ceremony at 11am. This was followed by the church service. The church service began with a prayer after which the preacher, Pastor Akinlabi gave a short but very inspiring sermon. In his sermon, he admonished the couple, giving them valuable tips on how to make their marriage a success. After this, he then blessed the union. After signing the marriage certificate, Pastor(mrs) Foluke Adeboye blessed the union of the two.

A short interview with the bride:

Hello Mrs, today is definitely one of your happiest days. Could you please tell us where you met Mr Femi Oso?
Yes, you are right. It's actually the happiest day of my life. We met at Redeemed Christian Corpers Fellowship, Abia

What drew you close to him?
His good nature, humility, patience, sense of humor and spirituality brought me close to him.We served together,he was the president of the christian fellowship, while I was the financial secretary. It was then i noticed his cool nature.

When did he propose to you and when did you introduce him to your family?
He proposed to me December 2015. I introduced him to my family October 2016, but we had official introduction in December,2016 although he was already speaking with them on phone even before October.

What other events took place? Did you go to the registry?
Yes, we got our license and wedding certificate from the registry and took it to the church. On April the 30th night, we had testimony night/dinner. It was his birthday and a testimony night of how we planned our engagement, intro and proper wedding in just six months. A testimony of God's faithfulness, of how we both got good and befitting jobs in six months.

And here you are today, can you please tell us how you feel right now?
Yes, i told you it's my happiest day. I'm so happy right now. I'm getting married to my heart desire...someone i love soooo much(smiles)
